A:Answer The unit is held in place by the incredibly powerful suction cup as well as the glue. Trust me, it's not coming off unless you REALLY want it to. The suction cup is activated by a throw lever on the base of the unit, and locks it down rock solid...I honestly believe the glue isn't necessary.
