The unit is held in place by the incredibly powerful suction cup as well as the glue. Trust me, it's not coming off unless you REALLY want it to. The suction cup is activated by a throw lever on the base of the unit, and locks it down rock solid...I honestly believe the glue isn't necessary.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Struggles on the dashboard. Is very good on window. I’m in the Oklahoma heat so maybe not as hot as Arizona but performs well on window
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I live in CA and it gets pretty hot here too. It stays better than every other mount I’ve tried, but eventually loses grip. Probably took a few months before it came lose though. It’s the best removable option out there in my opinion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It sure about 149 degrees. But at 90 with the windows closed its holds tight. Once I had a old one get lose but it wasn’t the heat that did it, dirt and wear and tear. I had it a long time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hey Grammy, I suggest you detach from window or dash. Under direct sunlight and with those temperatures it will fall once you attach your phone to it. Other then that, it stays on very well and the magnet is very strong. I know you didn't ask this, but also, if your phone is put on a wireless charger. It will not charge your phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am in San Antonio, TX so not as hot but it held up when we were at 96 degrees and at least 105 in the car when it was left out in the sun.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The mount uses a suction cup that is adjusted by a flip switch to engage or disengage the surface.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have never had a problem with any thing coming loose!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In winter when dash heater is running the dash will get hot and it loses its grip.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Here in the California sun it’s been attached for about a month now and it’s still holding tight so far. My car sits outdoors directly in the sun too so it works well !
