A: The unit is held in place by the incredibly powerful suction cup as well as the glue. Trust me, it's not coming off unless you REALLY want it to. The suction cup is activated by a throw lever on the base of the unit, and locks it down rock solid...I honestly believe the glue isn't necessary.
Q: Does it come with the magnets?
A: Yes it does.
A: It didn't hold my Samsung s20 Ultra at all so I wouldn't recommend trying a ipad.
