The unit I have is powered by the OBD II plug and does adjust for nighttime driving.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's powered through the 12v port in your car or an dlc (the obd port below the dash). I recommend using the dlc port if your vehicle supports it, as it will allow you to use more features. As for the issue with not dimming for night time driving, I personally have not noticed this since I believe it's a feature that must be setup by the user (which I have not done). Hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Powered by the ODC unless you have older vehicle, then by cigarette lighter.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Had no problem with it auto adjusting for nighttime. Power via the OSD2 port. It does take a couple of minutes to turn off after the car is turned off though.
