A: Yes it has a OBD-II cable included.
A: The unit I have is powered by the OBD II plug and does adjust for nighttime driving.
Q: Does this unit provide miles per GALLON, not km per liter?
A: Yes, this model can be set for miles or kilometers.
A: I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work. Some vehicles however won't support app features. It is all a matter of what your vehicles system will support. If you aren't getting power, the easiest way to check is to go to a local auto parts store and get a free code check. This will allow you to see if you're getting the correct power through your obd2 dlc port.
Q: I have a 2008 GMC duramax diesel. Will this unit work on my truck?
A: Yes, it will work in anything with a 12v port (all vehicles) and works better with vehicles with a obd2 dlc port which your vehicle will have.
A: For speedometer it requires the obd2 dlc.
Q: Does it display the information on the device itself as well as the windshield?
A: It does display the information on both the device and the windshield. The display on the device is "backwards" because of the way it reflects off of the windshield. the windshield acts like a mirror so the image is reversed.
