you can use the USB but it is quite slow. The 12V car port accessory charges it much faster, just use the 180 amp outlet if your car has one.

It charges via MicroUSB, and comes with a car adapter. You can plug it into any USB port to charge it. The higher the amperage, the faster it will charge. On a 2.1A charger, it took about an hour.

You can recharge it by plugging the USB-A end of the charging cable into your AC adapter in your car like you charge your mobile phone or by plugging the USB-A end of the charging cable into a wall adapter.
