I recall on the ECB2500c model that it was up to a 1000 feet. I read that information on Actiontec website a few years ago. I suspect the newer models have the same distance capability. The detailed spec sheet on the manufactures site might have the information.

Many people use coax between house and barn, for example, beyond ethernet distance specs. Look at Actiontec site for detailed specs. I have six hooked up and need more. I recall up to 16 can be on network. If you use an amplifier for tv signal to distribute tv broadcast signal to rooms the amp may need to be able to pass the higher frequency of adapter and two way traffic to each room. Actiontec includes two high frequency splitters, one to two outputs each. For example, your office has the router which is connected to one of the adapters which is then connected to coax which is in turn connected to one output connection of the multiport tv amplifier in the basement. How is the actiontec signal passed to other output ports connected to other rooms if the amp is only supports one way traffic? You need an amp which will pass traffic between ports, two way traffic. The splitters will work in a small configuration.
