Are the grips on the bottom of the controller rubber? I'm having issues with the xbox elite series 2 controller's rubber falling apart, and don't want replace it with this if it will have the same issues. null

the grips are rubber and one of the more premium feeling aspects. also, they are replaceable!

They are, but having both the elite and elite 2 and this i can tell you that these grips are better, not slippery and have not warped like the elite 1 controller did.

Yes, it does. the rubber is a little less than the Elite 2 and it is hexagon shaped. After a while of using it, the rubber didn't come off and I'm almost certain it won't. The grip is comfortable for me personally my hands do get sweaty and the rubber grip is enough to keep my hands steady.

It's part of the unibody plate that is rubberized plastic, I've used mine on Forza for many, many hours without signs of any degradation at all.
