Yes, if it has a 2.5" or a 3.5" this is the drive for you. 3.5" desktops may require a mounting bracket to be used with this hard drive as it only can be mounted in 2.5" bays.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If that model was built before 2010 no. If your computer can go up to at least 8 GIG of RAM and you are using at least 4 GIG, it should work. Don't forget, format it in the laptop it's going into if it is a bare-bones drive. In the box type in C:/format Unavailable will come up without formatting. Last, you can pre-format the drive first with any computer, then put it in, the computer will see the drive and not give you unavailable. The CPU/main processor on your model should be running at 1.2 Ghz quad core, windows 8 or higher, for a 7200 RPM drive to work. I Have never seen a 7200 RPM drive work in anything less than the above. And yes my dual drive laptop, win 7 could not handle the heat of the drive at that speed. Recap: Windows 8, quad core 1.2 Ghz or higher, using 4 GIG of ram upgradeable to 8 GIG. Only High speed dual core running 4 gig of ram 2.0 Ghz CPU will work. A Win 7 with 2 gig of ram dual core will not work. The motherboard was never designed to handle the through-put/speed.
