I installed this drive in an Intel NUC where space is at a premium and had no issues. Drive dimensions are pretty much standard across the industry , so this drive should fit in any laptop. Only critical dimension to check is the thickness if you have an ultra-thin laptop.

However if you have 7200rpm drive option in the laptop you want to be sure any larger storage capacity drive you replace it with is also 7200 rpm speed or you will see a performance drop. That laptop came with both 5400 and 7200rpm drive options so make sure you know what you are starting with before you try to replace it.
