because people don't understand difference between HDD and SSD, let alone what PCIev4 even is.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.People complaining about the price do not understand what the device actually is. People tend to think of memory as just memory and when they can see that they can get multiple terabytes for half the price they don't understand anything about read or write speed or about the limitations of USB and that this uses PCI Express 4 as its connection model. There are less than a handful of NVMe m.2 hard drives out there that have anything close to the ReadWrite speed of this device
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I understand people complaining about the price. The price of the new enhanced games have gone up to $69.99. Most people after spending over $500 on a game system with tax, really don’t want to spend an additional $220 for a memory card. Plus I would recommend waiting until the price drops. I personally won’t buy one until it does. I think I will be fine anyway. I have two 1tb external ssd drives with enclosures. I can play my old games on them and use them for storage. It’s not that much trouble to transfer the new enhanced games to the internal drive when I need to play them. I’ve included a picture to help people understand how the new memory card system will work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Average consumers have become accustomed to much cheaper storage solutions and don't understand how big of a leap these new SSDs really are. Also, no one is making it really clear that you can use slow storage that is way cheaper top lay current gen games and to transfer next-gen games back and forth relatively quickly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, a good SSD is half that price. Go to Newegg and see the prices of similar items, which are much less than $250 for a 1tb.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Because, comparatively, a SSD that's nearly 35% of the console device cost is nonsensical.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had Seagate drive for 30 years and never had an issue with their drives.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Honestly think it is due to the fact that the Xbox itself is only a few hundred more, and also that we are limited to only this option and ps5 can literally throw in any nvme and it will work
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it's not. I have a 6 TB external on my xbox one now and paid half that. Its works great by the way to.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ya but.... Seagate? Trash.
