In theory no, but you just have to look for deals. That's how I got this one for spend a certain amount and get some off, and they didn't exclude this item for it! I do hope they may do a sale, so that I may buy another one.

Highly doubtful. They didn't even drop during the holidays. Not black Friday, not cyber Monday and not even one little promotion to sell their product. Seagate has no soul.
