• According to the Best Buy website this drive is 7200rpm, however there is nothing on the box or the drive itself that proves this. I can't find anything on the Seagate website either.

• There is no moving platters in a solid state drive, and nothing to wear out. Speed is many, many times faster in write and read speeds.
