Is it comparable with USB 2.0 null

The USB 3.0 connection used is backwards compatible with USB 2.0, so can plug it into an older USB port. USB 3.0 is a much faster connection than 2.0 so you will limit the transfer speed of your files by the slowest connection point. Outside of speed there really is no meaningful difference.
