• It should work on any pc with a usb port. I used it on my old pc that ran Windows Xp. Hope this helps.

• It's just a hard drive like any other. It will work with any version of Windows starting with Windows 20000. I don't think you will get USB 3.0 speeds until Windows 7 though. Before that OS, you only have USB 2.0 drivers.

• USB has been standardized for many years. It should work on basically all modern OS versions.
