• I set up a dj with an HP laptop running Windows 10. She was always connected to internet updating music on this drive and was playing off a playlist also on the drive. You just have to upload your playlist or you may face some unwanted delays when trying to access files at same time. As for other programs, I run excell and do programming while listening to my music. I haven't seen any loss of speed or performance. Its all in how you set your system up.
