You sure can. You will just need to manually copy over your documents, music, movies, etc. from your profile folder to the USB drive, and then manually copy these over into their respective folders (again, manually) on your Windows 8.1 computer.

Yes it should work the drive is supposed to work with XP,Vista, Windows 7 and 8.

As long as the Windows XP computer has a USB 2.0 port, the answer is yes. Just plug in and go.
