your Operating System creates the System Back-up Image, the Seagate will accept any data you send to it. Personally, I use a flash drive of 128 gig to copy my system images. And I will most likely create a 2nd image on my Seagate 2 Terrabyte external drive.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When you plug it into the console (XB1 in my case), the console does immediately pick it up and formats it to the game memory. Once installed and set up, it seamlessly stores the hard drive memory on the console. If you are in need of more memory, go for it. You won't ever notice a separate tile or image once formatted.
