• Not unless you connect you use a service like CrashPlan. That will backup the drive to the cloud.

• The Seagate doesn't come with any cloud backup service, but you can purchase service with any of the popular ones out there and use the Seagate as part of your total protection system. I use mine for local backups and then I have a cloud service that backups from the Seagate drive. It works great.

• The software let's you set up a cloud account with Seagate. But I doubt it is large enough to mirror the entire drive.
