You would need a computer to connect to the drive and to connect to your SD card - then I would recommend creating a folder for each time you transfer the 32G SD card data so that you can stay organized. It may have problems with the size of the drive depending on OS. IF the computer is fairly new (last 5 years or so) it should be fine. 2. If your security system has an usb port for transferring files you may be able to do this. It may have problems with the size of the drive. read your manual. 3. if your asking if it can be plugged directly into the camera then probably not.
