While I would NEVER recommend a free downgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 7, it is a slight improvement over Windows 8. That being said, I have used this drive with Windows 10 and it works great.

Yes you can use it with Windows 10. It is already formatted to work. Just connect it. It will install the proper drivers. That's it. Drag and drop all of your old pictures, music, and videos.
