What does USB 3.0/2.0 connectivity mean? null

USB 3 has a much faster transfer rate than USB 2. It means that it is backward compatible to the slower USB 2 found on older devices.

It means it supports the faster 3.0 USB if your computer supports it, but if you only have USB 2.0 it will still work just slow down transfer rates. In other words it's versatile and backwards compatible with older technology.

The drive detects the type of USB port and works with newer USB 3.0 ports and older USB 2.0 ports
