No just hook it into one of the usb 3.0 ports in the back of you Xbox one
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. Would recommend you connect to USB in the back of Xbox1. Then follow directions from Xbox, format drive and move games to it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. We purchased it for our xbox one and plugged it right into the system and it recognized it and prompted us thru the necessary steps to format it for gaming and is working great never needed to connect to our computer.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don't need a "computer" to connect a hard drive with the xbox since the Xbox is essentially a modified version of Windows 10 for gaming. It is fully capable of handling the extra hard drive as is how I have used one of my external drives. You will have to go into the settings section of Xbox and tell it to format and how you want it to use the hard drive Enjoy cause it has allowed me to download a lot more games that I otherwise would not have been able to enjoy.
