I want to backup mostly photos, I would like to back up my photos on my pc, however can it be set to backup data each day or week?

Photos take up a lot of room on your PC's HDD. transferring them to an external drive is a good idea, You can also store them in the cloud and access them from most devices.Hope this helps.

Yes, simply use any backup program and schedule it any way you like. Make sure you select your new hard drive as the backup destination. You can use the windows backup, Seagate's program or your anti-virus program.

Yes. You can set it up to backup daily or weekly or even on a certain date. This is done through the Seagate Dashboard Agent that you will need to download.

Not that i am aware of. If the photo programs you use has the ability to automatically backup, then yes. This will work. But if you want it to back up automatically, this hard drive will not do that.
