• The USB 3 cable is 18 inches long. It plugs into standard USB 3 and USB 2 "A" jacks. You can use any micro-USB cable (2 or 3).

• The cable is only about 12 inches long which I think is a little short but it has not been a problem for me yet.

• USB cable is tiny, probably only 8 inches long. I use a different cable without any issues.
