A:AnswerYou have to lift it up a bit then get the screws started. It kinda sits up so it plugs into the PS4. The original hard drive is the same way. Works awesome

A:AnswerYes it is. That's what I bought my second one for. Please note: IT WILL BE REFORMATTED FOR DISH, Anything on it will be erased! After that it will ONLY work on your Dish unless you reformat it on a PC. That's why I bought the second one. Transfer rate from the Dish DVR to the drive is a little slow, but it is a USB powered drive. The speed was much faster putting my recordings back onto my new Hopper.
A:AnswerUnknown - But for what it's worth, my Surface three tablet has a flash USB dirve (which is one of the reasons that I recently purchased it over an iPad) and it works just fine in it. Both devices are super compact also.
A:AnswerPhotos take up a lot of room on your PC's HDD. transferring them to an external drive is a good idea, You can also store them in the cloud and access them from most devices.Hope this helps.
A:AnswerAt least you got 2 years out of it. I only got 3 months before it stopped talking. Store will replace it, but want $100 to extract all the data saved on it. What a waste of money. Sorry I have no answer to solving your problem.
