- Answer Onebeerbob, My first inclination would be yes. As long as you computer has a usb it should recognize an additional drive when unit is plugged in. If required format drive to ntsb. Hopefully this answers your inquiry.

QuestionIt shows the end of the Seagate so I can see what that part of the cord looks like.. But for the computer plug in side is it a Type C plug or a USB end? I have a Mac and only has Type C.

QuestionMy cable does not stay snuggly plugged into the portable drive. The light on the drive goes out because the cable does not fit tight. What is the name for the end connection of cable end that goes into the drive? The other end is a 3.0 USB.

- Answer No. This backup drive backs up everything except system files like Windows or system files of other programs you have. It does not do a “clone”. It’s great for your personal files, photos and videos.
