The easiest way would be to plug both hard drives into one computer and send all files from one to the other all at once. If you’re transferring 500 GB, 1TB or above; I recommend starting the transfer to happen overnight or when you can leave the computer alone for several hours because it could take awhile. Ultimately, it is best to let the computer only handle the transfer and not running another operation/programs at the same time in order to avoid any possible glitches during the process.
