“My computer is about 8 yrs old and my computer won’t start up so I do a test and it says hard drive cannot be found, is it because I need to buy a new one?”

Hello Help, I’ll be happy to answer, your hard drive might be busted, or you need to reinstall Windows on your boot drive. Personally, I have two in my PC, one for boot and one for Storage, but definitely try to reinstall Windows on your PC before reaching for your wallet. Have a good day.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Usually so, use a program to check the drive, or look in BIOS on bootup to see if it is there. If not then you know it is dead, Bios on boot should show what is going to load.
