Q: QuestionIs this compatible with a PS5?
Asked by Tink.
- A:Answer I would assume so it works with both my pc and Xbox. And I have a friend who has pretty much the same thing but the 2TB model and it works with his PS4 and PC so I don’t see why it wouldn’t work with a PS5. Hope this helps.

Q: Questiondoes this automatically back up my hard drive? i if not, what do i need to look for? thanks
Asked by kb.
- A:Answer As far as I've seen, there's no option to safely eject the hard drive, therefore I assume it keeps itself backed up since I've yet to see a problem in terms of file corruption or anything along those lines.

Q: QuestionI have an older 3TB Seagate that I used to store my photos, however, the disk seems to be frozen and won't spin. Is there a way to recover my photos?
Asked by KenK.
- A:Answer if you have windows, plug in the drive and see what the drive character is. for example, :E , :F, :G, or in my case :H. whatever your drive is under, keep that key in mind. open up cmd.exe / command prompt as an admin type "color 0a" just to change the text to green since it might take you up to a week for the files to repair. it can take forever. just let this next command do its thing, ":X" being whatever your drive character is. "chkdsk /F /R /X :X" this will check your disc partitions and repair them and check bad sectors and hopefully by the end should have all of your files repaired and saved. make sure youre hooked up to a computer that you can have on for a WHILE without crashing / turning off; its gonna take a while. i wish you immense luck with getting your files back!
