“Can it be set up wirelessly to work on laptop for photos so I don’t risk it being knocked off of table or won’t have to move it to different room when I want to work somewhere else besides where the external hard drive is at”

No. This is a fully wired drive without wireless capability.

This is a USB drive with no native wireless capability. However, if you have a router with a USB port, the router can share the drive over the network.

No this device cannot be used wirelessly. This device has to be connected to the device you are using the extra storage. This device uses a USB connection and needs to be plug to a power source.
