Q: What is the difference between the 8TB expansion external drive and the 8TB backup external drive?
A: This Expansion drive does not have a USB hub built in like the backup drive does. Also the backup drive states it comes with backup software. So, no hub & no backup software.
Q: Can the Seagate expansion hard drive be set up as a shared home network?
A: Yes. In fact, any hard drive can be set up to be seen and shared across all devices on your home network.

A: Laptop USB drives are powered through the USB port. Desktop USB drives require a power cord plugged into the wall to function.
Q: Can you use this with xbox one and 360 together? How about Xbox one and ps4?
A: It works for Xbox one and a PC for sure. Im not 100% sure for playstation 4 but i would say it does work. I dont think it will work for xbox 360 since there is an external storage limiter for that console
