“I purchased this and formatted it to Fat32 and put digital movies on it and our smart TV doesn't recognize it. we have a similar hard drive which does work but I am unsure why this one isn't working.... any help would be much appreciated.”

• The model number of your TV would be helpful in diagnosing your problem. It could also be the USB stick..I have acquired many USB sticks that just refused to work.

• I keep my 8tb hard drive connected to my laptop and when I want to watch I connect my laptop to the TV and watch the movies that way...
