• Nope, use the cable provided and set it on top of the PS4. Works great.

• I dont think so. Mine sets 2 inches from the ps4 and i have no issues.

• Did not have sny problem with different placement. Canle is also short and also my ps4 does not have usb in back so kinda cluttered look
