• Ps4 games will work with any external hard drive +ps5 games can be stored on here but have to be transferred to the actual internal storage of the console for you can play them

• The games don’t need to be moved back and forth. They run normally as long as you keep the drive plugged into ps4

• Yes, ps4 games can be played just with it downloaded to the drive. PS5 games however cannot be played off the drive.
