• For PS5 games, you can store your game data on the hard drive whem you are not playing the game and download it to the console when you want to play it again. Only PS4 games can be played directly from the hard drive

• It is only to store games. Redownloading them from the hardrive takes the same amount of time as redownloading them from the game library.

• It only works as extra storage for your games. You have to copy them back to the console's system storage for them to be playable. In my experience the copying process is quick and takes at most 30 minutes for 150 gigabyte games.

• You can only play PS4 games on the hard drive. The PS5 games will have to be redownload on the console.
