It is not flawed. No external Hard Drive has the read write speeds required to play ps5 games. Even when upgrading with a m.2 internal ssd you need to make sure it has over 5500mb read speeds or it will not work. This drive can be used to play ps4 games off of it or to store ps5 games. It is quicker to move the data from the internal hard drive to an external hard drive and back than it is to download and install the data every time you want to play.
