• You probably already figured out that it can be formatted through Devices -USB Storage to use with your ps4.

• No it won’t this is formatted specifically for Microsoft products. If you buy any usb hard drive with the segate brand it will work with your PS4. We bought this for xbone and use a segate 2Tb we bought from Costco for ps4

• It may be possible since it is just a regular HD but it is configured for the XBOX. If PS4 has a way to reformat the drive then just might work.
