“Will this play games on the series X?I have a 4tb Seagate,3.0 I bought that's plugged into a power outlet but for Xbox series X games it tells me I must move them to my internal to play them.Will this give the same error message or play directly from it?”

That’s just the down side of using external drive you have to transfer back and forth constantly in order to play…the system itself won’t slow you to play from the external drive….you gotta free up enough internal space by sending it over to the external then transfer whatever it is you wanna play from the external to the internal
