• Yes you don't have to ever re install. Games that are on disk require that the disk be inserted to play though

• Yes that is correct games can be installed as an external and played. To have your computer recognize it make sure to open Disk Manager and load the drive with a proper drive letter.

• Just as long as you don't delete the game from within the SSD itself, then you can play that game. Example, if you have steam and delete the game from steam it will delete the files for the game within the storage device it was downloaded on. To be able to play the game again, you would need to download it all over again.
