Yes, it will. I have it connected to my Xbox One Elite console and it works great.

I recently bought this for my Xbox 1S and it seems to be working just fine. I haven't had any issues. So I would imagine that it'll work all the same for the Xbox 1.

Yes. I like it a lot. I use it on my Xbox One X. I got frustrated with older/smaller external drives crashing. I have had zero problems and like the fact that it turns itself off when the system powers down. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Maybe could have found similar/cheaper deals on Black Friday but I think it was/is worth it.

Yes, this works well for the XBox 1. I currently use this as my primary storage for my games. I have not noticed any bit of lag or extra loading times using this storage either. I just wish I had gotten it a lot sooner so that I didn’t have to spend some time transferring my games from one drive to this one. I would definitely recommend this if you want the added storage for games.
