Will this work with the series x ? null

Yes, it works just as well with the Xbox Series X/S as it does with the Xbox One consoles, at least when it comes to Xbox One games and earlier. However, the new "Optimized for Series X/S" games have to be installed on the console drive, or the new proprietary storage card to play. You can transfer those new games onto this for storage if your console gets low on space, but you have to transfer them back to the console to play them.
