- Answer This one is not officially licensed for PS5 it’s just Ps5 ready. The specs are identical as far as I can tell from Seagate's spec sheets. The NVMe vs M.2 naming is just semantics, they are identical interfaces. The only difference seems to be that this one is “PS5 Ready” whereas the other one is “ Officially licensed for PS5”.

QuestionWhat exactly does this do for a PS5 does it increase the internal memory storage to save games? and doe the device save games automatically. imy trying to get as much emory as I can on my ps5 for game like grand theft oft and Harry Potter. /

- Answer Yes, the device is installed in a port easily accessible under the playstation's top cover. The port is designed for additional SSD memory to be installed. You can then select the storage location for games from settings to be either the internal storage or this SSD. I am playing Harry Potter on it right now.

QuestionIs there any difference in this vs the firecuda 2tb for PS5. They look the same as far as writing speeds to me but I’m not familiar with SSD’s.

- Answer There isn't a difference that I found it has the same read/write speed. The blue band on the front is about all the difference there is
