You will find that this drive will fit almost any laptop. The box does include the spacer if you have one of those laptops that need it. The change to the new drive is very simple and you can fid direction on youtube for just about any device. Always take care when changing the drive out to not break any of the laptop cables and always back up your data before you need to replace a drive.

Its best to get a solid slate drive, by SanDisk they r quieter n they last longer than these types of hard drives

For this to work, you need to make sure your hard drive is bad. The guidelines for a bad hard drive are slowness, when everything else is ruled out; or a clicking or whirring sound coming from the drive. Before you commit to buy, make sure this is a hardware issue, not a software issue, like a corrupt OS.

Yes, the hard drive in that model is a 2.5 and so is this drive. You'll need to make sure and reformat the new drive and install the appropriate operation system so it works with your product key.

Yes, that drive should work. I would personally upgrade the drive to a SSD drive, if I had to replace the drive. SSD drives are a LOT faster than HDD drives. But they are also more expensive. The bottleneck on most computers today are the hard drives because they are slow. To boot up a computer might take 1 to 3 minutes at least before everything finishes loading up on your desktop. With SSD, it's reduced to about 15 to 30 seconds. This is all dependent on your computer, but believe me you will see a big difference. Also opening programs will be faster. You will especially notice this on any bigger programs such as games and quickbooks. If you google SSD versus HDD, you can a lot of information regarding it.
