Surpisingly Easy

This was the first time i've replaced a hard drive on a laptop, and I'm very happy with the results.

Great buy at Best Buy

It's quiet and great for storage of extra photos or music. Partition into 2; put your OS on a 150GB and the rest is your storage. In the event there is a catastrophe, your documents could be saved.

Easy to Install

I was told that this product was the best for the money. I checked around and no one could beat Best Buy on the price! Not even Ebay or Amazon. It was easy to install and it worked...which is the best part. I recommend using this product if you are looking to do a quick upgrade to 500GB!

A good hard drive at a decent cost.

Searched internet for best price and by the time I factored in shipping cost, it was roughly the same as getting it at Best Buy; an added bonus was not having to wait for it. Hard drive has been working flawlessly and my laptop is back up and running.

Great all around drive for netbooks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do a lot of upgrades for people of their netbooks to bring new life to them. Most folks do not or cannot spend the money for the SSD so I provide them with this option. The Seagate drive is very reliable and I have not found them to be hot in any of the netbooks that I have rebuilt. Dollar per byte is very good and they will last for some time. I have never had one fail on my and I have rebuilt over 50 with this drive. (ALWAYS REMEMBER TO BACKUP YOUR STUFF). The package does include the spacer and recently they have been including the screws for mounting which is a plus.

Bought for PS3 Super Slim

Seagate's warranty and customer service have always been stellar. By the way, the drive fit and functioned perfectly in the PS3. Nice to have the extra space.

Good laptop drive

I was able to get the installation software from Seagate's support site and burn a bootable CD to use for setting up the drive. It runs very quietly and quickly!

Hard Drive Replacement

I have had too many hard drives fail so I am a little hesitant of how long this one will last. Am considering a different type of back-up for my storage of information.
