• The Seagate Momentus hard drive is compatible with the Dell 1525 laptop. The normal size for the 1525 laptop is a 250gig, so this should double your hard drive space.

• As long as the drive you are replacing is an SATA 2.5 inch drive then yes it will work. Make sure you have you reinstall disks from Dell before starting.
