Yes, I have both formats on the drive because everything Apple is proprietary. The drive actually creates it's own SSID and you would connect to that Wi-Fi. There is only two OPERATING SYSTEMS out there when you go to phones and tablets (Android & Apple), and the three letters and numbers after the file name tells you the format, this in turn tells you the best device to play it on.
