“How to access the files remotely? One of the product description says that the files can be accessed remotely from anywhere through web browser, would like to understand how to set up? Please be detailed. Anyone tried and did work for you?”

Leave it on and connected to internet....type the devices web address into desired computer should see the page come up looks just like the app but with a few more options....havent tried outside of house yet good luck
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.After you attach your wireless device to the wireless network that the seagate drive broadcasts, you open any web browser and will see your files there. There's also an ios7 app that stinks, so using the web browser is the easiest thing to do.

You can access it via Web Browser where you see a list of Movies, Music, TV Shows, and documents. You can also connect to it like a shared drive. On your computer, you could make it your M: drive or some other drive letter. You MUST be on it's wireless network. If its at your house and your on the road, you can NOT connect to it.
