This means that the battery pack can withstand ingress of water in harmful quantity. It can be immersed in water under defined conditions of pressure and time (up to 1 meter (3 ft 3 in) of submersion). While the unit itself was tested with water projected by a nozzle (6.3mm) against enclosure from any direction with have no harmful effect (light rain).
