QuestionWhat is the maximum grade this scooter can climb regularly? Will hills reduce the range?

- Answer Book says it can handle a 20% grade. I just went up a steep hill, probably 30%, and I am near the weight limit, and it slowed to a crawl near the top. This is about 150 yards long uphill. Doing this, I would guess, took about 4 miles off the total miles for a 95% charge. I was doing 18 mph and set at "sport." Pretty good performance I would say.

- Answer Uhh, removing the external battery pack would probably reduce the range by about half. I'm not a mathematician but it seems logical. Your question would be true if you use your hoof power.

- Answer Book says 374 total or something like that. Maybe divide that in half because about half of the total is in the stem of the scooter and half is outside the stem as an add on external pack.

QuestionSpecifications say the max weight capacity is 220 pounds. What would happen if someone heavier than 220 tried to use it? Will it just be slower?

- Answer Someone that tipped the scales around 260 said they felt it was slower going up a graded driveway. Cruising around they felt the extra weight was not a factor. Have nothing to compare battery life if someone over the suggested 220 has an effect. Not sure for the suggested weight limit other than battery life seems construction of scooter was Stough enough to carry weight. The range of rider's weight from 160 to 260.
